Erbil Yağmur was born in Malatya in 1976. His father is a medical doctor of internal medicine and his mother is a primary school teacher.

Yağmur completed his high school education in Eskisehir Fatih Science High School and in Istanbul Yahya Kemal Beyatlı High School and graduated from Istanbul Medical Faculty in 1998.

In April 1999, he passed the Medical Proficiency Exam and started his speciality education in Istanbul Medical Faculty Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

In 2004 he completed his education as a Gynecology and Obstetrician major.

He worked at Private Bilge Hospital between 2004-2007.

Erbil Yağmur fulfilled his military service in Erzurum Marshal Çakmak Hospital between 2005-2006, started working at the German Hospital in vitro fertilization center in 2007.

He worked for 10 years at Bahçeci Fulya In Vitro Fertilisation Center which is owned by the same group.

Erbil Yağmur is carrying on with his work in his private clinic since 2017.
